Hello Experts,
I have a question. There are 2 materials A (FERT), B(FERT). Both A and B has a different BOM. Both A and B are co products. When you create a Process order with A as header material i see that Material A is seen under the material tabs as a co product (with -ve sign) along with other BOM components of A and (i believe this is the standard SAP behavior). Now when i create Process Order for B as a header material i don't see material B in the components. My question here is is this a standard SAP behavior to see material A (Co product)under the materials tab of process order. If yes y is this not the case for the material B? Thanks in advance.

Hello Umesh,
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Here is the scenario.
BOM Of Fert: A
Header A(Fert and co product)
Comp A1
Comp A2
When i create a process order for A:
Under materials tab i am seeing
A1
A2
A( header and co product
BOM Of Fert B:
Header B(Fert and Co Product)
Comp B1
Comp B2
When i create a process order for B:
Under materials tab of process order i am not seeing the header material B(Co product)
B1
B2
so why is that for process ord of A has A as one of the components under material but not the case for B.
Hi Kirish,
You have to review your business process and maintain master data accordingly. Why you create BOM for your Co-Product? what about the main product? In which parent material, you added this co-product as component? We used to get co-product additionally while manufacturing any of assembly. You no need to maintain BOM for co-product, instead of you have add this component and co-product (negative qty) in your main assembly. Please check your production process and do the changes as per manufacturing process.
Thanks
