Manual packing in delivery with full HU and WM storage location

Hi,

Has anybody performed manual packing in a delivery for HU and WM managed storage location?  We are wanting to perform manual packing for partial picks however when picking is done using transfer orders, the HU's will be what the picker has picked. 

Does anybody have information on whether this can be done via routine, user exit, or something else?

This can be done through LM45.
First scan the HU, then pick the goods to that HU.
Again, scan the HU, pick another item to it.
Repeat the process as many times as you like.

When you complete one pallet, use another HU (or you can use the same if you wish), and pick until the second pallet is full. Repeat the process as much as you need.

You must have pick & pack enabled in customizing for this to work. Not sure, but try first without pick&pack activation..

Hi Sharon,

As you've seen, when you have HU managed storage location, manual packing of delivery items is not possible (For HUM storage locations, all stocks must be managed in HU and manual changes are not possible).

From your description, however, it sounds like using the automatic pick HU  functionality would meet your requirements. Please see the customizing:

Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> Shipping -> Define Shipping Control -> Define Control for Automatic Creation of Pick HUs.
