Fiori Leave Request Approval

Dear Team,

I am working on a Fiori implementation project and we need to configure Leave Request Approval scenario.

Customer doesn't have ESS/MSS implemented and they are creating leaves using PA61 transaction. Leave requests doesn't get recorded into PTARQ tables.

Once employee creates a leave, we can see these leaves in SWI5 transaction, but these leaves are not visible on Fiori mobile app.

Gateway and Fiori configuration is correct as we can connect the same system with other backends (where ESS/MSS is implemented and leave request approval mobile app is working fine).

Question here is - can Fiori mobile app work without ESS/MSS (where leave details are not recorded in PTARQ tables)?

Looking for quick help.

Best Regards,

Atul Jain

    Dear Experts,

Please can you let us know if it is possible to use FIORI leave request mobile app if customer doesn't have ESS leave solution implemented at ECC backend?

We don't have ESS MSS implemented, so do we need to implement the whole ESS MSS of just few things to make Fiori leave App working fine?

Could you please provide us with a document or a tutorial showing such ESS configurations.

      Thanks

Please go to PTARQ tcode and create a leave and check if it works. You should also have 2 users. Employee and manager. Both should be in org structure.

Check if relationship is maintained between both. Once leave is created by employee say employee1 , it should go to manager 1's inbox. Check SBWP of Manager 1 and validate if you get a leave there.

If you are getting in manager's inbox then you can see the same in Fiori Approve leave request application as well.
