RSBBS transaction destination

Hi everyone,

I set up on the rsbbs an rri with  for destination a Transaction on BW.

My problem is that when I call the query and i click the link it opens the transaction on a website and not on the local system

can anyone help me changing this behavior?

Hi Adriano

I can understand your requirement, but this is how RRI works according to SAP standard.

The functionality itself is designed as a Report to Report Interface at the run time for web applications.

The prerequisite for RRI functionality to work properly is to have the ITS (Internet Transaction Server) installed for the target systems which clearly shows that is works only in URL.

When RRI is called up, the URL for starting a transaction in the SAP GUI for HTML is generated by the BI server and it cant be in SAP GUI itself. Though it shows in a webpage, there is no problem at all.

If you have any specific problem with the screen that has been generated by RRI for the transaction, then that is a different issue. Unless it has an issue with the functionality, there is no problem mate!!
