Cost distribution to CO statistical orders

Former Member

Hi,

I need to find a way to distribute costs to CO statistical orders from FI invoices for services. Costs must be distributed to orders by statical key figures (kind of amount of service based on quantities on each order).

It could be done via cost centers if "Actual posted cost center" in master data of CO statistical internal orders were filled, but they are not filled. And creating new orders will be a big problem, which I want to avoid.

Is there any way to distribute such costs to CO statistical orders? I guess these will be statistical postings (type 11)?

Cost Elements should be the same as in FI invoices, but these costs should be distributed to CO orders.

Please let me know are there any solutions for this issue.

Thanks in advance.

You can try LIS to transfer your SKF data to IO for your report

Well, this report allready developed by ABAP.

Anyway, users should be able to check costs on each CO stat.order by cost element before runing report.

It's not possible to use statistical key figures as a driver for FI postings to statistical objects.

It's neither possible to repost statistical costs from one object to another one such as assessment cycles.

You need to figure out another way by using actual allocation.

well, maybe my question was not clear enough.

document flow could be:

[FI invoice] -> [any kind of CO cost object, to collect initial costs] ->(distribution process to statistical orders without "Actual posted cost center" in order's master data)

The end point of cost distribution is report which collects costs from those statistical orders by cost elements.

Anyway, thanks for your answers

... and what is the problem exactly? Do you ask if it is possible? In this case, the answer - yes: it is a normal allocation process.

Hi

Once actual posting is made without assigning any Statistical Order subsequent transfer from the real object is not possible through any standard T,code.

I think your main purpose is to make some report for that cost items (Elements). Why do you not use report painter concept to define your report? That will be much easy method.

Can you explain your requirements in details so that forum may help you to achieve your object.

Thank you for your answer.

The problem is: I can't fill in "Actual posted cost center" to existing CO statistical order, and thats why I can't distribute costs to these orders.

Possible solutions for me:

1) Fill in "Actual posted cost center" to existing CO statistical orders, which allready have postings to them.

2) Find another way of distribution costs to CO statistical orders.

Thanks in advance.

In this report data should be divided by Cost elements and CO statistical order.

Why cannot you fill 'Actual posted cost centre'? Of course, this would have consequences for your further postings. There is no other way: the costs have to be posted on true object along with statistical one.

Thank you!

You are right, implementation of SAP Note 198036 solved the issue.

Hi....

It is impossible to distribute  the costs to CO statistical orders using cycle and re-posting function.

To post the costs to CO statistical orders, you should input cost center and CO statistical orders together when you generate FI document.

For the amount for cost elements with type 11, , you should input cost center and CO real orders together together when you generate FI document.

Hi,

You can try the option of Periodic Re-posting Cylce.

T Code: KSW1 for creation of Cycle.

Where you can select Order as a sender  and Order as a  Receiver.
