Hello Remi/Vivek,

If a plant worker works on sat/sunday (which is generally offday),he get a comp off which is valid for next 3 years and if the sat/sunday falls in a public holiday ,then apart from a comp off,he will receive duoble the day payment.Am i clear?

thx

Can you clarify one more thing this is only applicable for Saturday, Sunday's or If employee is having off on any of the week days then also you have to provide comp off.

Since SAP provides a provision to query the Day type's , Holiday class, Daily work schedule etc

so if you wanted to provide comp off  when an employee works on off days irrespective to whether it is a Saturday, Sunday the you can query by using operation

VARSTHOLCL

VARSTDAYTY

VARSTFREE

Then you can use HRS=PNUM add to the time type same can be utilized in your quota base entitlement then quota will be generated as you required and you can define your Validity and deduction periods as well as you required.

This is completely depends on your Day types and Holiday class of daily work schedule in existing system so before going to write PCR check and ensure that all off days which are falling on Saturdays and Sundays should have similar kind of attributes so that you can write a PCR accordingly.

Thanks Pradip.

Is there any threshold limit for the min no. of hours to be worked before comp off is given? If the employee works for 3 hours on saturday, will you give him comp off or not? Will your comp off be granted in hours or days?

Thanks and regards,

Can you clarify me i have some doubts.

General Shift

Dynamic shift what does it mean by what is the shift pattern

As far i understand General means planned working hours 8 planned working time is 09 to 5 or 6 in a week 5 days they will follow same work pattern comes to Saturday and Sunday decided as weekly off so they no need to come.?

Dynamic shift what is the shift pattern.?

Since before writing PCR or etc what is your existing work schedules we can map it based on work schedules and shift patterns only.

Hello vivek,

8 hours a day for general, and dynamic pattern is 6-2.2-10,10-6.comp off is applicable for those who work on sat/sundays ,as its off days counting.if a worker perform 8 hours ,then only he will accepted,3/4 hours no acceptance.comp off is applicable in days.

thx

Do "plant worker" have a distinct Personnel Sub-Area Grouping for Absence-Attendance and for Quotas, or do they share a PSA Grp with other employees?

As mentioned by Vivek, please confirm the requirement regarding the plant worker who works on a Saturday/Sunday that is not a Holiday and on a Saturday/Sunday that is a Holiday (regarding payments and generation of Compensation Holiday Quota).

Hi Pradip,

Do you mean that the employee gets paid and also gets a comp off for work done on Sat/Sun with 3 years validity period?

And if he works on Sat/Sun which is public holiday, then he gets double salary but no comp off?

Did I get your requirement correctly?

Thanks and regards,
