Unable to create Return sales order

Hi Expert,

User created one sales order 6 months back, with Sales Org-AA, plant- BB storage location-B1 and completed till billing.

Later we have changed the plant BB to WM managed, so we transfer all the material to WM and closed all the pending documents.

Then removed the storage location B1 from plant BB.

Now user want to create Return sales order with reference to old billing documnet (Which created using Sales Org-AA, plant- BB storage location-B1).

While creation return, system wont allow us to save the order. seems storage locaton B1 not their in plant BB currently.

I suggested to user create return order without reference, but user and my client like to know in this sitiuation, is there any way we can create return sales order with reference to old billing document.

Please help me...

Thanks for the reply and we have re-created the same storage location and moved to production.

Ideally system would allow you to save a return order without any storage location.  May be you need to check any exit is validating this.  Needless to mention, it is a basic thumb rule in SAP that once created configuration should not be deleted for whatsoever reasons.  There are ways to block this.

Plant code differs in your original post with this screen shot.  Try changing the plant code if it is different.

For the initial post i used dummy details, seems not wishing to put real client detail.

Remaining all same problem.

let me know if the material is extended with WM views before Return order Execution.

yes, we have extended the material in WM view already.
