Hi,
I created a workflow which open the ME29N with the object BUS2012 and method singlerelease.
When I release the PO for my level (insert in SPRO – Workflow) I can also release the next level even when I’m not assigned to the release code. Same effect when I open ME29N directly.
I checked authorization object M_EINK_FRG. It’ s active for ME29N.
What it the reason for it and how can I solve it?
Regards Ralf
Hi Ralf,
There is problem of role only in this case, even if you are not assigned to the release code.Check with your Basis/Authorization team but provide user id and release code ,company/plant data details and ask them to restrict this release in role.once they modified the role then you can check ,I am sure that there is no issue of Workflow here, hope this information will help you.Same problem I faced and this way we resolved it.
Thanks,
suru

Its happy to see your issue has been resolved.. Now you should close your discussion.
Please have a look into the document The SCN Rules of Engagement | SCN Option 8.
I can't say about workflow, But if it is happening in ME29N, then you can check your user maintenance from t-code SU01. There can be more than one roll assigned to your user.
If only one roll is assigned, then please post screen shot of SU01 - Roles Tab, PFCG - Authorization object M_EINK_FRG and ME29N - Release Tab.
