Problem to open sap analysis for excel

Hi César,

Your BI Admin should give you the URL to the BI platform if that is where you want to connect to.

Otherwise you can click "Skip" to connect directly to BW

Tammy, i do click on "skip" button and I get the error of the images.... "falta elemento raiz", My intention is to connect directly to BW.

Hi - could you go to Analysis > Settings and select the Platform Settings tab

Select Preferred Platform and Select Netweaver as shown below:

Then restart Analysis for Excel

Then when you select Insert Data Source it should prompt you to logon to BW

Is the SAP Gui installed on the same machine as your Analysis Office/Excel?

Could you apply the latest service patch of MS office 2010 and then check the same

Are you on the latest release of Analysis Office 1.4, SP8?

Because SAP Note 1924487 says this error is fixed with the support packages.  Could you please install the latest release and try again?
