IDT Universe not recognising date

Hi everybody!

I'm building a universe in IDT4.1 and it's not recognising my date column. It is a MS Sql Server.

When I discribe the table in an other tool, you can see it is a 'date' column [img-1.png]. In the Data Foundation it is also set to data type 'date' [img-2.png]. Then I try to build a dimension with the column [img-3.png]. Using the Integrity Check, I receive an error [img-4.png]. I'm also unable to use custom date formats on the dimension.

Not only do I need the 'Entry Date' but also the 'Month Name' for the respective date. I could use something like:

DATENAME(month, @Select(Cc90 Statistic Queue Data\DateTime\Entry Date))

But therefore I would need a working 'Entry Date' dimension.

What can I do?

img-1.png (4.1 kB)
img-2.png (24.2 kB)
img-3.png (8.6 kB)
img-4.png (29.5 kB)

right click on the table in Data Foundation and check display table values option.Check if you can see the values there or not?

Also try to refresh the structure in DF and try again.
