regular expression in File adapter

Hi Team,

I have requirement of using regular expression in file adapter. Is SAP has provided any options in new version of usage of regular expressions  in file adapter. Any other possible ways to achieve it if it's not possible with existing features of file adapter.

Hi Jayasuryaavthi,

As Harish and Hareesh said you need to make combinations between Advanced Selection for Source File and Exclusion Mask. You can get an example in the SAP.Help documentation: Defining Placeholders, File Name Masks, and Exclusion Masks - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library

AFAIK - SFTP adapter supports regular expression but not the standard file adapter.

You can define placeholder such as * and ?

What is your condition to pick the files?
