Custom Disclaimer Message issue after BW 7.31 upgrade

Hi All,

We have employee details report which was having the "Custom Disclaimer Message" at Bex report footer(Portal) and it was working fine earlier. This message is not showing when we execute the report from portal after BW system upgrade from BI 7.0 SP 23 to BW 7.31 SP 11. Bex query is used to create an iview in portal. Please help us to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Prasad

Hi Prasad

Could you please execute the same report in RSRT or BEx Analyzer and check if you could see the message. This is to identify whether the issue is with ABAP stack or Java stack.

If it happens only with portal(java), then we could see what could be done. May be the patch level of BW 7.31 SP 11 has to be upgraded.

Hi Karthik,

  Thanks for your response.

I have executed report from RSRT and Bex analyzer but message is not showing at footer. Is there any setting for queries to show disclaimer message? Only this report was having disclaimer message before upgrade.

Thanks,

Prasad

Hi

If its not showing in RSRT and BEx as well, there should be something wrong in the way you have configured the disclaimer.

Did you use CMOD code to populate the message. Could you please check if everything is ok in the CMOD for customer exits.

Hi Karthik,

I did't do the disclaimer setting and it was done by development team during the implementation. We are trying to figure out where we can do this setting in BW? I'm sure we didn't use CMOD to populate disclaimer message.

Thanks,

Prasad

Hi Prasad

I am not sure if there is any other way to display a custom message in BEx output. Would you please check in your CMOD once.

If its not maintained there and when there is no idea on how the message was configured earlier, you could write a CMOD code to populate the message now.
