GL Account Master data upload in S4 Hana

Hi,

I have a requirement to load GL account master data to SAP S4 Hana . I am new to S4 Hana . So i was wondering whether there is std upload program which could be leveraged in Creating Mass GL account both at Chart of Account (FSP0) and Company Code level ( FSS0) .Earlier we used use recording or std direct input method RFBISA00 to achieve the same .

Hi

There are couple of options:

1. You can use the data services from SAP. This is a BODS based tool and for the specific object, it should be part of your S/4HANA License as well.

2. The other option is to use the rapid data migration services.

This is a paid service but does not have lot of facility to play around with the fields required. However, it is simple and easy to use with ready templates.

The option to use LSMW is there but it is not a recommended approach as SAP has been saying that using LSMW might lead to data inconsistency

Thanks Sanil,

Our client would like to use this program to do GL account upload as and when required , hence the program has to be flexible enough to cater creation , Updation and deletion as well. I hope these functionalities could be catered using BODS

Hi

The data services tool based on BODS is very flexible and has been around for quite some time. You can actually get the data from a source system and bring it into S/4HANA.
