Hi Experts
im new in Sourcing of SRM
we immplemention self service procurement in classic scenario
now we want using bidding and auction process
is it possible in our case?
i want this scenario:
we create RFX -->RFX approved with manager--> RFX sent to the bidder and the invited bidders submit their bids.and complete their response and send back to us --> we compare the document and choose winner
is it possible?
if its possible how i can sent RFX to the bidder?
Regarding output settings, what are the main settings we need to complete to enable sending bids via email, and where do define / assign the output forms? What are the steps for setting up weighting and ranking to enable evaluation and comparison of bids?
Regards
Elham
Hello Elham,
Regarding your first question
"we create RFX -->RFX approved with manager--> RFX sent to the bidder and the invited bidders submit their bids.and complete their response and send back to us --> we compare the document and choose winner"
This is the standard bidding process. And yes this is very much possible.
Now your second question
"
if its possible how i can sent RFX to the bidder?
Regarding output settings, what are the main settings we need to complete to enable sending bids via email, and where do define / assign the output forms? What are the steps for setting up weighting and ranking to enable evaluation and comparison of bids?"
Once the Rfx is approved by the approvers , its ordered successfully and then email is triggered to all the suppliers (whose email id has been maintained at the time of creating\transferring vendor from R/3) which are present in that particular Rfx. Once the email is triggered then supplier gets the information about the Rfx. They start bidding and once they SUBMIT then only there final price is shown in the Rfx . They can bid till the end date . Once the end date is reached , through price comparision you can get the best bid and through response and award you can create the PO against that best supplier.
But if you are not happy with the best bid or u don't receive good amount of suppliers , then you can convert that Particular Rfx into Live Auction ( Button present on the Rfx Screen) . For live Auction , you have to maintain all the setting same as you did for others e.g Transaction type , number range and also the business function as well. Please have a look to the below details for Live Auction

Hello Elham,
I don't get it "which scenario" . There would be a common URL for every bidder which would be handled by the portal consultant . Once bidder clicks on the URL , he/she has to provide her credentials . After providing the credentials , it will be redirected to the SRM , where he/she can see the Rfx which are ready for the bidding. They will open the particular Rfx and provide their quotation value in the item and then will click on Submit button. As they click on Submit button his final quotation will be automatically be reflected in our(means the actual user) Rfx screen. Once the rfx reached the end date , user can see the quoted value.
For email , when the vendors are created we provide the information like address , name , email . So no need to provide an email for the price , Everything is handled by the SRM system.
Document!! for which configuration ?? SOST are checked whether email is getting triggered or not. If not then you have to maintain the same with the help of Basis team
I hope this helps

TNx for ur attention
for my question about bidders login to our system: is it true?:
i create bidder and assign contact person to it
then i assign bidder role to it (like /SAPSRM/BIDDER )
then i create RFX and assign that bidder to this RFX
after that , bidder can login to our nwbc address and check his inbox and complete RFX response (standard RFX respanse form)
and after complete the rfx responce send back to us and we can select winner
is it true? and standard process?
