Design Studio 1.4 embedded javascript-compression or not ?

For the moment I'm working on DS 1.3 and I saw a nice step-by-step of compressing the javascript. But now I wonder if those steps are included in the installation of an upgrade to DS 1.4 or not?

The Visual BI article is misleading.

JS minifying is already in place in Design Studio 1.3 SP1 and is very likely to stay in further release (1.4 included). There is no steps needed to activate it.

The Tomcat configuration described in the article refers to GZIP compression of server responses: it further reduces the size of JS files through the network with compression (see Tomcat documentation for more details).

But this has nothing to do with Design Studio. It will actually impact all JS files served by Tomcat.

    Best regards,
