Required two different GL accounts for MIGO and PGI for one company code

Dear Experts,

We are working on Inter Company Trading Process (STO). The scenario is explained below.

In normal cases when we do MIGO the entry will be as below

Inventory A/c Dr

GR/IR A/c Cr

While doing PGI

COGS A/c Dr

Inventory A/c Cr

The client's requirement is that they want two different P&L account GL's to be placed instead of Inventory.

MGO

Purchase 1 A/c Dr

GR/IR A/c Cr

PGI

COGS A/c Dr

Purchasing 2 A/c Cr

In the above case the Purchase A/c which is debited in MIGO will also be credited in PGI. But the client requires two different Purchase A/c both for MIGO and PGI.

Is the above scenario possible with any User Exit or whether it can be done using Substitution rule or by any other method.

Kindly provide your valuable inputs for the above.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramprasath

    Hi Ramprasath,

I hope you are doing good.

What I feel is you should create two different GLs as per your requirements.

Assign one GL in OBYC; BSX condition type.

Assign one GL in VKOA; your specific condition type.

I hope this will serve your requirement.

If this helps, please close the thread.

    Thanks,

    Rohit.
