Hi,

I am trying to create a dedicated iview for one analysis for office workbook but I cant seem to find any information on how to enter the application parameters to launch a specific AA workbook from the portal.

Any ideas on how to go about this?

Thanks

Ellis

Hello Ellis,

you have to enter following string for parameters:

OBJECT_TYPE=DOCUMENT&OBJECT_ID="Your Workbook"

Then the AOLauncher is parametrized.

Thanks Waldemar.

That is exactly what I was looking for.

Do they have this documented any where on the SAP website. I would love to see the list of other parameters available.

Thanks

Hello Ellis,

I also would like to see a documentation, I found this "trick" in another post in SCN:

Hi Waldemar

I've tried to search for other relevant application parameters than  the 2 mentioned.

Do you know about other parameters?

Hello Ellis,

What type of Iview you are creating in your SAP Enterprise protal side? You can do it in three ways. You can create a SAP BI 4.0 document List iview template , SAP BI 4.0 document viewer iview template or a simple URL iview. Since List iviews not support additional functionalities like creation, schedule etc for Analysis reports, you can Viewer Iview or URL iview.

In Viewer Iview you have to specify your report with CUID as shown below.

In our project, since we have SSO implemented between systems, All BO reports are integrated to Portal through simple URL Iview. We just need to give the unique document link in the URL iview and no login required between SAP EP and SAP BO because of SSO login.

check below doc for details.
