REGARDING MOBILISER HIBERNATE SESSION ISSUE

Hi Experts,

                I have been using the mobiliser web services for the CRUD operations for one of my project. I'm facing an issue when i am fetching the records from mobiliser database.I'm getting this exception that no hibernate session found.The below is the log showing the exception.The highlighted text is the exception.please help me out of this.

Hi,

a normal Mobiliser (web)service is already wrapped with a transaction.

You chose to implement a "truerest" service which does not have the same filter configuration as the standard webservices.You need to define the transaction demarcation somewhere.

This happens usually at service level so that all DB operations are either committed or rolled back and you don't end up in some inconsistent state.

There are various ways of how to achieve this.

I guess for you the easiest way to get there is to reconfigure the bundle-context.xml

Add spring transaction support to the namespace declaration:

  xmlns:tx="http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx"

  xsi:schemaLocation="...

  http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx http://www.springframework.org/schema/tx/spring-tx-3.1.xsd

...

And add this to bundle-context.xml as well:

  <tx:annotation-driven transaction-manager="transactionManager" />

and then pull in the transaction manager from osgi:

  <osgi:reference id="transactionManager"

    interface="org.springframework.transaction.PlatformTransactionManager"

    context-class-loader="service-provider" sticky="false" />

Finally you need to add "@Transactional" on each method that should run in a DB transaction (interacts with the DB).

  Thanks for the support,I tried these changes as said by yourself in 3 bundles named persistence,true rest and service endpoint bundles.I have made the changes as you have said but after applying the changes i got this error for all the bundles that bundle did not start in time. Let me know where should I apply these changes exactly.please help me out of this at the earliest.

Sorry, but I don't think that it is possible to handle a Mobiliser training via an SCN discussion.

You need to have a basic understanding of Spring and OSGi.

There might be an import missing or you copied the code sniplets int the wrong files. Very hard to tell just form the error that the bundle did not start up (BTW: this is not an error but just a warning that is recoverable, you would need to look out for the root cause in the other log files as well).

There are extensive developer documents available at help.sap.com (https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/instguides). But even those assume that you are familiar with OSGi.

There is also a very good SAP training course available for Mobiliser (MOB400).

            Please, let me know in which bundle should I make those changes that you have said and also do I need to remove transaction advice tag in any of the Bundle.
