    Hi,

Try to make your excel templet like this

    Item No. Item Description Asset Class Capitalization Date Useful Life Remaining Life Depreciation Area Depreciation Type Asset Quantity APC Inventory Number of Asset Accumulated Ordinary Depr. Depreciation Start Date Comp&A800001 Desktop Computer 2.93 GHZ Comp&Acces 20120901 36 20 Main Area Straight Line 1 25500 DKT-CO-00001 11333.33333 20120901 Comp&A800001 Desktop Computer 2.93 GHZ Comp&Acces 20120901 36 20 Derived Area Straight Line 1 25500 DKT-CO-00001 11333.33333 20120901 Comp&A800002 Server Machine Dell Processor 670-3.4 GHZ Duel Processor Comp&Acces 20120907 36 20 Main Area Straight Line 1 110000 DKT-CO-00002 48888.88889 20120907 Comp&A800002 Server Machine Dell Processor 670-3.4 GHZ Duel Processor Comp&Acces 20120907 36 20 Derived Area Straight Line 1 110000 DKT-CO-00002 48888.88889 20120907

Keep both depreciation area in same Item No and make sure that Depreciation start date is same as Capitalization date

    Hi Hong,

Have you checked SAP note 1963711 ?

here is the note link: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1963711

based on the SAP note, probably your problem solved by upgrade to SAP B1 9.0 PL10.

    Regards,
