I successfully installed SAP B1 v9.0 on my machine.
A win 8 x64 with MSSQL Server 2012 x64.
Everything works, all settings done (On SQL Server too) TCP/IP Enabled on MSSQL Server, License Server running, Firewall off (for the moment), etc...
BTW, I didn't install x64 features of SAP B1, just 32 bits ones, don't know if this is maybe the root of the issue.
But everytime I try to login, I run SAP B1 32 Client (Run as Admin), first pop-up, Server:port (localhost:30000) seems correct, then another pop-up appears, asking me User ID and Password.
A friend told me it is: Id = manager, Passowrd = manager, already tried that but with no success, it says, User ID or password incorrect.
Then another pop-up appears, I select db version, Refresh, but nothing happens. All is empty.
Even if I create one, in the end it throws an obvious error because of the earlier one, wrong credentials.
So, I want to know, if I miss something here, on ControlCenter I can see my MSSQL Server, but with no company, I did setup up one when installing.
What Am I missing here?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Please make sure SAP Business one license manager started and set it automatically under Services.

Hello Dear...
On Login form U able to See Companies ??
If no then installed SQL server Native client...
then run client setup with run as administrative ...
then in Current server select appropriate SQl server type like SQl Server 2003/2008/2012.
This will help you...

Hello Dear,
In Login Form please select appropriate SQL server type or In Services(Services.msc) plz start TAONT, SAP license manager and SAP SLD services restart make it Automatic through properties, then run client as Run as Administrator.
If companies are not coming then created another user with Administrative rights and try to run client.
This will be helpful for you... 😉

Sandesh
Hi Sandesh, ok, think almost all these services are running, but what do you mean by a new user?
Is it on Windows? In that case, it does not have anything to do with SAP B1 login.
Or MSSQLServer? In that case I think it is not the user which I'm trying to figure out to login into 32bit SAP B1 client.
I'm on win8 x64, and mssqlserver 2012 x64.
BTW, I do select correct db version, with no success
