Dear all,
I am kind of new to CRM, and I am doing well so far.
But now I run into a problem...
When I want to insert a long text in a business partner via LSMW it doesn't work.
It records everything I do (BP-Open BP-Change-CRM001 Customer (maintained)-Long texts-Z002 Customer remark
After that it doesn't "see" what I am typing, and saving, in the long text.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
I am sure it can't be very difficult, but I can't find it.
I have to fill in the same line of long text for about 3000 Customers, so I do not want to do this by hand.
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi,
For uploading marketing attributes, we had written a Z program, that takes input from a flat file and uploads using function module CRM_MKTBP_CHANGE_BP. The data is provided to the funtion module which updates the marketing attributes to each BP.

Ok thanks..
But now one more question, probably the same.
But how about the marketing attributes? Can they be done with IDOC to?
If you go to BP -> enter a competitor -> and there is your attributes... -> I use the OMK1 type -> Then are some lines that you can edit for the competitor...
Please help me out

Dear Robbert,
While using LSMW, why are you going for Recording.
Instead use IDOC and use the CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M message type which has all such functionality.
Hope this helps .
