hi,

My documents are getting technically blocked in GTS. Error says the ''No customs business partner exists for partner XXXXXX".

When i go and checked the business partner the data are maintained (EXT partner). Can any one suggest how to deal with the issue.

Hi Pal,

If you see this error even after finding your customer in GTS, you will have to check table /sapsll/pntbp.

There might be inconsistencies in this table See if you find the same BP# in this table for your customer.  BP# and External partner# mapping is maintained in this table. GTS will identify the BP# in GTS with the external partner# using this table.

If you see a different BP# mapped to your customer in GTS, please use BUPA_DEL and the pointer table cleanup program /SAPSLL/BP_DATA_CLEANUP and then re-transfer your customer from ECC to GTS.

hi,

Thanks for a prompt reply. On curiosity note what is difference between BUT000 and /sapsll/pntbp table, both the table shows the external BP no.

Hi Pal,

BUT000 table stores General data of the Business partner. Entries in this table can be easily influenced/changed by using Maintain Business partner transaction. External BP no. that you see in BUT000 table is the value that is maintained under identification tab of Maintain Business partner transaction.

Whereas, /sapsll/pntbp is a table maintained automatically by the system while transfer/replication of data.

So, when we refer to mapping of BP number with external number we should always consider using /sapsll/pntbp table. External number that you see in BUT000 table can be easily changed in Maintain Business partner transaction. You can try this using transaction code BP under Identification tab.

Hi Dhilipan,

I am facing the similar issue and I have checked the table /SAPSLL/pntbp and the external business partner no. is correctly maintained.

Could you please suggest what could be the possible reason?

Naveen
