Characteristic Structure

Hello,

I have built a custom structure  based on 0PROFIT_CTR.  When I execute the query I cannot see a heading/title for the structure.  Do you know of a way in which we can define a heading/title for a characteristic structure so that the name appears on the query?  I view my queries via Web Templates.

Kind regards,
Ross

Hi

What is your progress?
Well,
If you want the structure name to be changed and display Profit Center then
as you have introduced structre to your rows
go to properties and change the name of the structre from structre properties.
Attaching you a screenshot:

Select your structre in the row and on the right pane, you will see the properties , change the name to desired name in the field description:

Hope it helps

If you notice carefully, in the preview pane,

You need to build a selection inside your structure and name the selection as desired..put all your cost elements inside the selection

Hi Suyash,

Many thanks for the feedback.  I'm trying to include a heading for the selection, by including a new selection this just gives me a new line within the structure.  I think my requirements are not possible based on current Query Designer functionality.

Ross

Hi Ross,
What kind of display you want?
If you create a custom characteristic structure in column , you will get the desired display.
The key figures will be required to set as such they display correctly in accordance with the characteristics

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.  When we include rows, for example, Cost Element, the row heading is correctly labeled Cost Element.  However, I find that when I create fixed hierarchies, the heading label is blank.  I've included a screen shot and highlighted the area in which I hope to include a label.

Kind regards,
Ross
