CJ9FS not copied same values between versions

Hi Gurus,

I'm new in CO and PS, I have a doubt related to CJ9FS copy.

After performed the tcode between 0 version and another one, when I compared both, the values in some cost elements aren't the same.

Is a normal behavior from system? How can I check the posting values in each version?

Regards

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

Based on your screenshot I see a difference against sub-contract ext, KM1 ext purch reco, KF Prod, G/L's. The values seems to be different for Plan A and Plan B. Before double clicking on the same have you observed this difference?

Hi Varun,

Is there a way to fix it? The issue is exactly the differences when perform the tcodes about copy.

As you see, in RPSCO values are not the same, if the system displayed the message that copy was made, reset and overwriting, the values copied should be the same right?

When I trying fix use CJ9F, the system do not copy the same values in the plan B (ASD).

HI Carlos,

What Dnyanesh was referring to was the structure overview report (cn41n). Try cn41n with both the versions. Can you please paste the screenshot that you were gettting while executing the report I have suggested? What is the type of planning you are using?

Hi guys,

@ Preeti Argarwal,

I`ve Tried CJ9B and the result is the same.

When I use the tcodes for copy I choose the reset and overwrite is displayed. I don`t understand why the values is different.

I other hand, I`ve checked in RPSCO table and found the diferents values as follow:

Budget Type    Version     Value

KEKZ               0          769,13

KEKZ               ASD     845,33

I'm not able to check the kind of plan it was made, could you please give the way?.

I`ve tried CN41N and couldn`t find version to setup.

Hi Carlos,

Based on your inputs, I believe the version you have been using is ASD. Have you filtered the values based on the value type "1" in RPSCO table? Try running the report s_alr_87013554 with the values as provided in the below screen shot? This should be able to give you some output. Can you please provide the output you have been getting from this report?

Hi Varshal Kachole,

I have seen this oss note, and os not the case, due the copy is for the same currency.

I`ve talked with user and he told me that some projects do not copy the same values, but if tried again later works, I don`t have any idea about it is happens.

Best Regards.

Hi
Carlos,

you
are coping plan value fron version 0 to version 1.

There are chances that version 1 is already having some cost plan
by another cost plan method for example by easy cost planning etc..

If version 1 already having some values then it will add into the
values which are copied from version 0, resulting you got diff.  plan values in both the version.

So make sure Version 1 is empty before coping plan from version 0
to version 1.

Go in CJ41n - Select project cost plan & project cost plan2
field in change layout and share the screen shot.

With regards,

Dnyanesh

Hi Carlos

While copying the planned values from version 0 to version 1 (In your case you must have used cost element planning) what were the values that got displayed while running it in the test mode? Were you able to see all the G/L's against which you have planned the values?

Hi Varun.

Tks for your answer.

In the test mode I can see it.

The problem is: the company complains about that there are some different values between 0 and as delivered version. the user told me that the values should be the same between versions. I've tried to way to analyse it but I  couldn't by myself.

I don`t know how to CJ9FS works and where search the values to compare posting between versions, and if should be the same values due the tcode do a copy?.

Best regards.

Hi Carlos,

Use the following report s_alr_87013554 and carefully check the various postings made (in both the versions). This report will be of use to find out the differences between both the versions cost element wise. Execute the report and let me know,
