Hi gurus,
I have a single source( write optimized DSO) and a targets(cube).
I have three date ranges as selections and some exclusion values in the dtp filer say 1) 4/16/2014 to 5/16/2014- full load
2) 5/17/2014 to 7/16/2014
3) 07/17/2014 till date
can I create one dtp and run the same dtp by changing the selection simultaneously. All the loads are full.
Regards,
Rajesh.
Hi,
Yes, You can run one dtp and keep on change the filters.
If you need then create 3 dtps and enter those filters.
Thanks

Hi Rajesh
Yes, you can run the same DTP to do such full loads. But instead of doing this, create a small process chain with three different DTPs with individual selections.
It would be automated and you don't want to change the selections once its done.
Once the process chain is successful, delete the DTPs if you think you don't want to see them or leave it as such.
DTPs wont do anything bad even if it exists the system
