Hi gurus,
I would like to understand how does work the PO printing in SRM.
I mean, after the PO has been created by a buyer, is it automatically printed? How does the system know which output device should print?
Thank you in advance for your help
Hi Sarah,
The following wiki has detailed information on printing purchasing documents:
Printing of purchasing documents - ERP SCM - SCN Wiki
Hope this helps.

Conor

Output is chosen during purchase order creation (header - output) - this defaults in based on the supplier settings.
To print go to the purchase order powl view and select "document output" - you will
see the ordered POs are in an Unprocessed status, click the desired PO and hit output.
It should print now.
check the spool in SP01 if you don't have a print setup

Hello Sarah
As my understanding, once you have created a Purchase Order, this is not printed automatically. If you go through the Shopping Cart and you create a PO, once you order and save it you have the option to print a preview manually at the top left corner of your display, but there is not automatic printing, not unless you program a default setting to do it from the back-end system in my opinion.
I am new with the SRM SC so in case I am wrong someone will correct me eventually
I hope this helped
Have a nice day
