Error while creating DSO

DSO must have atleast one InfoObject in the key part. This the error while creating DSO when i tried to activate it.

Please suggest me something.

Hi,

Can you post your error mesage please.

Have you inserted one info object into data fields and key fig into key fields?

if not then please do that and later try to actiavte dso.

Without single info object whats the use of dso?

what kind of DSo are you trying to create, a billing order DSO  or what?
When ever you create a DSO, you need to describe the key part and the data part. Key fields comprise business semantics (functional understanding)  and these key fields are only characteristic info objects (technical understanding)
The data part can be both characteristic and key fig infoobjects.

For instance, a billing DSO  should have Order number as one of the key fields    and not material number.
First you need to understand what purpose the DSO will have accordingly design the Key and data part and then try activate, you will not have any error.

Yes the Long description of the DSO is Sales Document DSO .

You created a dso with out any objects.

First add one character under key fields and add key fig under data fields.

later try to activate dso.

Are you practicing?

Please search on Google and help yourself.

There are lot of  docs/pdfs are exist on google.

Hi Ranendra,

your infoobjects have to be active and then you can insert them in your key part of DSO.

In the key part rthere has to be at least one characteristic!

HI,

in dso have mandatory one key filed must not reuqired for the data fields if you want activate.

without key field it won't activate but without data fileds it will activate.

but it is not possible ot insert key figure to key fields.
