Hi,

I have a report to show the turn over from each customer.  The problem that I am facing is if customer have two invoices then the record for same customer appears twice on the report , where as I want it to appear once and the total should show the sum of both invoices. I can do with query but not sure how to do it in crystal report.

Thanks

Hi Fahad,

Include a group on Customer and move all your fields to group footer and insert a summary on total and display it instead of your database field for total.

Thanks,

Hi Raghavendra,

Thanks for your response , I tried it and it worked. So I am ok to suppress the detail section in report?

Thanks

Yes, as Abhilash suggested, detail section needs to be suppressed.

Missed that point

Thanks,

Raghavendra

Hi Fahad,

Go to the Group Expert > Add the Customer ID or Customer Name or the unique field for Customer to the Group List.

Next, go to Insert Summar > Choose Sum as the summary Operation > Choose the measure field you wish to sum on and under 'Summary Location' choose 'Group #1'.

You then need to Suppress the Details Section and move the summary to the Group Header.
