Career in Sap ABAP

Hello,

My Self Jay Vyas and i am from Gujarat , India.

My current job profile is as an android Software Developer since 9 months.

I pursued degree in Computer Engineering last year.I heard about Sap nearly 10 months ago and till now i am very excited to  build my career in Sap ABAP.

As much time went when i hear about SAP and i found that the career in SAP is very huge.But as all know that SAP training and certification costs are much expensive (3.7 lakhs INR  in Lithan Genovate , Ahmedabad). So for me it is very hard to decide to go for SAP or continue in Android Development.

So please advice me should i go for SAP ABAP or not , because  i am very much eager to go for SAP ABAP.

Hi Jay,

As certification is important but this is not necessary.

Some other institute is also provide ABAP training in nominal fees.

You can also get demo version of SAP IDES in your machine and can do practice.

There is lot of material available in NET to build your knowledge in ABAP.

Hi Jay,

As Amit said ,if you want to learn it, you have many ways .It is not neccessary to get a certification.

I see many ABAPers who have many years experience still have no certification.

So if you are in Infosys, Cognizant.. ,this kind of company, you should have opportunities to change from Andorid to SAP.  You just started Andorid , so it should be easy to change.
