MRP based on PAST consumption

Former Member

Hello,

I need to configure the MRP for one specific material, this MRP should generate the schedule line based on the PAST CONSUMPTION (for this

specific material, should be based on the last month consumption).

So for example. If last month i bought 500 pc, so next month the mrp should generate demand for 500 again.

How can i set this up ?

What configuration in MRP 1 view do i need to use ?

Marcelo,

You should use consumption based planning for your scenario.

Hello

As Kiran mentioned, you should use a consumption based MRP type. If you want to consider past consumption, you should use a forecast based MRP type, such as VV. In this case, it is also necessary to create the forecast view of the material master and run the forecast for this material.
