Dear all,
Please throw lights on the issue I am facing.
Scenario: User creates production order with two operations and we assume the duration of each operation scheduled from the order is 10 days. Now user gets order scheduling result like this: (by using forward scheduling type)
Operation 0010 start date : 01.11.2014 finished date 10.11.2014
Operation 0020 start date : 10.11.2014 finished date 20.11.2014.
Order start date : 01.11.2014 Order finished date: 20.11.2014
we outsource the fabrication on operation 0020 quite frequently so user needs to change the control key of operation 0020 to trigger a PR.
User inputs the lead time of the planned Deliv.time of the Ext processing as 50 days. so the release date of the PR will become 01.10.2014 as current SAP logic (20.11.2014 minus 50 days). however after production order saving the finished date of operation 0020 becomes 30.12.2014 because of order rescheduling.
the problem: the PR release date saved in PR is set as 01.10.2014. but actually it should be 30.12.2014 minus 50 equals to 10.11.2014. this is horrible since we have raw materials attached to the PR. in that case we take goods in warehouse 40 days in advance (10.11.2014 minus 01.10.2014).
Is there any settings or workaround or SAP notes to solve this issue?
Mao,
As far as I know there is no settings available in standard to change this behavior but
by Using customer exit COZF0001 you can change the dates in external operation PR without changing the order dates Please check with your technical consultant.
