DTP inactive in Dev system

Hi,

In Dev system DTP is inactive. When click on edit button it showing below error message.

Transformation 0R1295N6W3CDAGBYMXVIOR2VKYO6SD62 inactive. Action cannot be executed

Message no. RSBK260

Diagnosis

A transformation (0R1295N6W3CDAGBYMXVIOR2VKYO6SD62) used by the DTP is inactive.

System Response

The action (request processing or DTP maintenance) was terminated.

Procedure

Activate the transformation. It connects the source 0HR_PT_2 LS_HRD100 to the target ZPT_C01

But transformation is active only. Please help on this.

In RFC connection showing error, now checking on this.

Take basis team help and establish proper communciations(RFC) between ecc and bw.

you proper check each and every rfc go to sm59

open particular rfc goto utilities check for authorization test and connection test both should be clear if problem presist in authorization that is password issue you might change some password give correct

username and pass then it will go further check and let me know

Did you tried with creating new DTP and activate it? Is it delta DTP or Full DTP. Only one DTP u r not able to activate or alll DTPs u r not able to activate?

HI,

First activate the datasource, if your datasoruce in in  3.5 version and using the version BI 7.0, you need to import the datasource and then activate the transformation.. if will be helpfull  if you  provide the screen shot. so that we will answer effictively.

Please activate the entire flow starting from the target, then source, then the transformation and finally the DTP.

Tick mark the option 'USE M version of DTP (if Available)' while executing the program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE.

Hi Manju,

May be your transformation is active but not executable.

Please activate your transformation again and then activate your DTP.

You can also use the program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE to activate your transformation.

What is source and target for your dtp?

Source and target objects are active?

Reactivate your transformations

Later you can activate your dtp and see.

if not corrected then do the repair the dtp thru program - RSBKDTPREPAIR.

Source is 0HR_PT_2 data source and target is IC.

I tried both reactivation of transformation and RSBKDTPREPAIR program but no use.

please activate the through program - RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE

first check the transformation is avtive if not activate the transformation.

have you written any abap code in transformation please check have any syntax errors.

Hi,

Above programs belongs to dtp.

But your issue in transformations.

is those standard transformations or custom one?

Mean while can you check RSLOGSYSMAP table in bw.

whether its have source(ECC Dev) and target(BW Dev) names.

if not there then maintain them with help of basis.

later you can activate transformations.

Next  create dtp ,save and activate.

Hi,

relicate the data source 0HR_PT_2 form ECC.

Aativate the cube -ZPT_C01

about tranformation is it custom transformation or standard content tranformaiton?

if standard install the same transformation then activate.

if custom check the any ABAP logic for syntax errors.

above all checks it completed activate the transformation through program- RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE
