LSMW to extend WM1+WM2 views and populate Warehouse No.

Hi Experts,

I created a LSMW direct input with Program RMDATIND to create the views WM1,WM2 and populate the Warehouse No XXX

to some materials already in Plant XXXX (with a StoLoc).

The views are extended but the WH No. doesnt get populated. My upload file contains MATNR, WERKS, LGNUM and PRCTR.

There are no errors in LSMW but in the material master I dont find the uploaded WH No. Manual entry throws the error "Warehouse

no. xxxx not maintained for material xxxx".

How did you check that the views got extended?

Do you have an entry in table MLGN?

Can you see your name and the date for creating WM view when clicking the blue info button next to the material description?

Can you give a screen shot from overview and detail of the converted records in your LSMW

there is no screenshot from the overview of "Display converted records"

and no WM related data shown for BMMH1 structure.

Thanks. Have included new screen shots in the document. In the structure BMMH1 I have only the Profit Center because during a manual update the only error thrown was to enter PRCTR. Or do have to include other WM related data?

I have actually never tried to create a warehouse view (or plant views in general) without data.

So you could try to give values for a WM field, just to see if it will work.

I had recently a similar error with IDOC posting to extend a material master to a new plant.

After making the VPSTA field blank it worked. BMM00-A_VPSTA in your case. you may want to try this as well.
