Restarting a (sub)workflow

I have a workflow ( let’s say top level wi_id 10000 ) 

that calls a sub workflow ( wi_id 13000 )

that opens with a background task  ( wi_id 13100 ).

Environmental issues at the time were such that the task threw an error.  Things Stopped.

My tech log shows an overall error up top, with errors highlighted at each of the aforementioned wi_ids.

The approvals were done in previous sub-workflows – this sub-workflow just processes the approved work.

I believe that the environmental condition no longer exists.

How can I restart the (sub)workflow ?

( BTW, SWPR does not show any of these wi_ids.)

Hi Mike,

Try this simple approach.

Go to Transaction SWIA-->Click on the workflow Log

Select the step which is in Error.

Go To Edit -->Change-->Restart workflow after Error.

Even simpler - restart from SWI2_DIAG.
