Are there any guides out there on how to best use UI5 on the Java Stack?

Thanks

    Hey folks,

I'm more intereseted in how to code and deploy to the java stack. I came to know that NWDS seems to be the only option. What is the latest version of NWDS? The one I am using is 7.3 and it's based on an Elicpse version that is outdated for ages (3.5). I doubt that it is compatible with the latest UI5 Tools.

Using Kepler with UI5 Tools does not give me any option to sync with a Java-Server, right? The Team Provider Plugin is only meant to be used with ABAP. Any other idea here?

What server are you planning put the ui5 on? The later versions of Portal/Java servers are coming with the UI5 Package.

if you are on the latest 7.31 or 7.4 versions, SAPUI5 runtime is already deployed as SCA.
