Hi all,

A DSO request activation error as occurred due to illegal charter and hemce SID generation has failed.

This happened long back.

Other requests are waiting to be activated.

To correct the data, Data is not there in PSA also. As per client PSA has to be deleted every 3 days.

    Hi Adarsh,

You can correct in another way by debugging the new table and then once again activate.

    steps

Go to manage screen--> new table-->

Find the incorrect data and choose in display mode

enter /h and press enter two times

Click Show and make it edit and press execute

Now,the entry will be in editable mode

Remove the blank space and save.

Now,active the red request once again.

    regards

    Pradeep

    Hi,

Expand SID generation and see the exact error and find the value which have bad/invalid data.

    How to correct:

From above log find the value which was invalid.

Based on that you can find that record at PSA by filtering.

Before edit the psa record we need to delete failed request from DSO.

At PSA, you need find your request whih was loaded on 14:03:2014 and time 04:30.

    Thanks

    Hi all,

I know we can correct the error data in PSA and load again.

the problem here is PSA data is deleted every 3 days. (PSA deletion is dona via Process Chain)

PSA data for the particular error is already deleted.

    Regards,

    Adarsh

    hi,
    a) Go to PSA

    b) edit the records with invalid character

    c) re run the load to DSO after deleting the red request. (Please check data duplication or inconsistencies issues here)

    d) then start activation in the DSO

As you mentioned invalid characters, You may need to check the data in ECC side as well.
If data is maintained incorrectly it is natural that the process chains when extracting data will bring these invalid characters into BW.

Please check all the ins and outs carefully.

    thank you.

    Hi Adarsh,

Did you loading data on any criteria?

If that is the case find out the which selection your request have this error then delete this and load for same selection .

Modify PSA and load into DSO and activate.

your DSO your are loading full or delta?

    Hi,

As the request is already deleted from PSA and DSO is not updated successfully.

You can create a Infopackage pass the selection parameters similar to your delta selection say company code also pass the date of of missed delta say 22.09.2014.Pull the data till PSA. Mark the latest delta request of 23, 24 as red load 22nd request first and then load 23, 24 request.

    Hope this helps.
