Change In Department

Dear All,

When there is change in department i.e. from one department to another department.

I understand that the relationship of the position with new department can be done via copy function  as from PA department we cannot change the same. However please help me understand the Job Rotation process and do we require to execute Transfer action for the said case?

Please advise.

Yes do transfer action. Because for your client, Department is org. unit if you want to change the dept. of the Employee, you have to change the specific position in that new department. Do Action type: Employee Transfer / Job rotation / Position change
