Hi Everyone,
Good Day.
I am facing issues with SMQ2. More than 50k messages stuck up in DEV. I am on PI7.4 dual stack. When i open the queue i can see the status as running however the messages are not processed.I have selected the particular queue in SMQR and tried to deregister and register the queues but no luck still the messages have not processed.
SMQR status is in WAIT before its was STARTING.(I Know shceduler should be 'inactive' it used to be in correct status)I have managed the queues from SXMB_ADM however still the message status in SMQR is wait and messages in SMQ2 are not processing.I have checked the resource status and it is showing as NOT OK in red color.I understand theoretically resources was not available to process the messages.
My Question is How should i assign the new resources to the server and why all of sudden the resources status is NOT OK?Is it because of the more number of messages in SMQ2(I have deleted the queues in SMQ2 and bring down the messages to 18k however there is no change.)
I would like to have a discussion on this.
Thanks

Hello Pavan
You can ask Basis team to restart the server. May be this can solve the issue.

Hi,
kindly check the Transactional RFC status using the Tr code SM58, if any error is occured in PI and kindly check if there are enough DIA work processes in SM50? .Has the number of DIA processes been reduced?.You could also check SAP notes 74141 & 527481
