Hi All,
We have a business requirement where we need two different catalogs for 1 BRF Plus application. Both the catalogs are holding different set of Decision tables and required to be accessed be different set of users.
e.g.: Cat 1 to be accessed by set of users A
Cat 2 to be accessed by set of users B
We have tried at the PFCG Role level, but we can restrict access at application level, not at catalog level.
We tried application exit and we are able to achieve this to some extent. We are facing issues when user is switching between the catalogs.
Can someone help us to achieve this requirement?
Thanks in advance !!
Regards,
Sheetal
Hi Carsten,
After implementing the applicatication exit,we are facing issue in the case mentioned below:
Case :User A is having access to catalog 1 which has 4 Decision tables.
When user selects the catalog 1, it will display the contents properly.
When user is trying to switch between catalogs i.e. switching from catalog 1 to catalog 2, correct message is getting displayed i.e. user is not authorized to access catalog 2.
But the left pane contents are not clearing up i.e. contents of catalog 1( 4 decision tables)
If user clicks on that content, we get the below error message
