Error during ACT_UPG phase.

Hi Team,

I  got the below error during the ACT_UPG phase of Preprocessing. After we selected option of accept no severe error however the phase has

crossed. I checked the table is active but when i tried to activate again this table it is showing the similar error.

Currenlty the upgrade running and no issues are encountered after that. Can you suggest any note that can be applied after the upgrade to resolve the issue or the below error can be ignored. Let me know if more details is required.

Hi,

From attachment, search help "/ALG/DPORT_AGR_NAME" did not exist in your
Shadow Instance. You can try the following for this error in future:

  1. login to SHADOW system with a non-DDIC user
  2. SE11, Create Search Help /ALG/DPORT_AGR_NAME
  3. SAVE. But DO NOT ACTIVATE.
     (see info below)

Info:
  After you have saved the new inactive version of all these data
  elements, try the phase again.
  It will automatically activate them.

You can also use the

option to Accept Non-Severe errors during this phase and proceed, since

this same Search Help does not exist in the Original Instance.

Hi Aidan,

Thanks for your response.

I already proceeded with the option of accept non severe error. Will that create any problem in the system after the upgrade.

Should i create a Search help for that table after the upgrade is completed.

Hi,

The namespace /ALG/ belongs to

SpinifexIT, a partner that provides HR/Payroll improvements

to the system.
I would recommend that you contact them directly regarding this object.

YOU CAN  create a Search help for that table after the upgrade is completed NO ERROR OCCURS

Hi

i request you to please wait till upgrade finishes

and then you can login in upgraded system and check for the /ALG table .

you can always create after upgrade has been done . so dont worry and wait till upgrade finishes .

please dont try unlocking of shadow system etc. unless your are stuck.

as you have mentioned that the upgrade is running so let it be . and let SUM finishes .
