Hello Gurus,
We currently have EPM 10 being used for our consolidation process. We are thinking of going in for planning as well.
Wanted to check before we go ahead full steam with EPM, what is the plan for Integrated planning? Is it still part of SAP long term planning road map as till sometime back it was hailed as the key planning product?
Thanks & Regards,
Aashish
Hi Aashish,
you can find roadmaps in the service marketplace:
http://service.sap.com/saproadmaps
For SAP Business Warehause (contains BW-IP/PAK) check
https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001152092012E.pdf
In addition please read the blogs:
and

Regards,
Gregor

Thanks a lot Gregor,
This is really helpful. By looking at this I understand that IP is clearly in the future plans for SAP.
Is there some kind of recommendation or some analysis that people have done for the pros and cons of going forward with integrated planning vs doing planning in EPM?
I kind of think that creating a new model in EPM with the details that we need for the planning is an added step where as in BW we already have all the information at the required details.
Also how easy is it to push the planned values back to ECC from EPM?
Any information on this will be very helpful. Thanks.
