CRM_UI transaction leads to 'page cannot be displayed' error in browser

Hi,

CRM_UI isn't working in our CMR 7.0 EHP3 ABAP system.

Already activated all sub-services as per Notes 1115493 , 1295006 with no luck. No issues with Hostnames, FQHN etc found. Any ideas to troubleshoot further?

Regards,

Naga

Hi Naga,

Please perform a basic testing of any services activated in SICF , If this takes you to the browser and ask for logon info, then you do not have any proxy or port issues.

If this test end up with error, Just check your browser setting s is allowed for this particuar domain, or excluded proxy for urls with this domain.

Also , when you have time please check this wiki page , has many useful info on WUI.

Hi Vagesan,

Thanks for your reply.

Testing service in SICF too leads to similar error, do not get the logon screen. Checked the access of CRM_UI link directly in the server's browser with same issue. Changed proxy settings and notice a different error 'The system returned: (111) Connection refused'.

I can access the CRM Java portal fine (Installed separately on same host) from everywhere, only issue when trying to access CRM_UI web page launch when using CRM ABAP.

Any further ideas?

Hi Naga,

Please check if any log is recorded in SM21 after this error.

Also , disable proxy completely and test again.

In SMICM , check if the HTTP services is running .

Hi Vagesan,

Thanks Again!

I was giving blind eye to port number in SMICM, see the port number for HTTP was set to '0'. Corrected the same. All this time i was just checking if HTTP is active. Your advice is just around what i did to fix. Greatly appreciate your help.

Hi Naga,

Set the profile parameter in Instance profile and restart the system,

icm/server_port_0     = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,TIMEOUT=180,PROCTIMEOUT=1200
