Displaying news in an iview

Hi

I want to display a news item in an iview, on a page with other content. However, so far I have only been able to display the contents of a folder to show the news item which you then have to click to display (using the KM navigation iview). How can this news item be displayed automatically on the iview with no need for the user to do anything?
