Gateway OData services for task aggregation

Hi all,

I know that Gateway can be used to provide a unified inbox UI for managing tasks gathered from multiple data sources.

My question is: does Gateway also provide an OData endpoint for doing the same at the HTTP level?

If possible, I'd like to consume this OData service from a remote system where UIs would be deployed.

Any redirect to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, regards

Vincenzo

Thanks a lot, Chandra that's exactly what I was looking for.

Is version 2 superior to version 1 or are they just different? In my understanding v1 is just a subset of v2.

Just one more question: I can see that UI Execution Links are always considered relative.

In my BPM engine I will be using external UIs, so I'll have absolute urls.

Any idea on how/whether these absolute URLs will fit into the Gateway OData service?

Thanks, regards

Vincenzo

I don't know the exact difference between v1 and v2 but of course v2 is the latest one. also both services can be activated as per this reply in thread

regarding UI execution link, I do not have answer.

Hi Vincenzo,

UI Execution links need to not be relative. For BPM external UIS URLs will be absolute. and when you invoke these URLs the request will land up directly in BPM system bypassing Gateway.
