Hello Experts,

We have global Multi provider already up and running.in this MP FICO yearly partition cubes for different country, sales order, sales delivery cube.

now we have business requirement for local (USA) country which are available in global MP. how can I use cubes which I needed with below cube data flow (transformation, data source , DTP, info package etc) for LOCAL Multi provider.

We can not change global MP for local requirement.

solutions

1) create new MP - add cubes needed - it will bring all below data flow itself ???

2) create new MP - add cubes needed and create new  transformation, DTP etc........???

3) copy MP ?? -- how can we copy MP ?

Hi,

Please explore about multi provider.

its an structure while executing report it fetches data from connected targets. So there is no dtp and info packs for multi provider from underlying targets.

if your USA local related data was exist in underlying cubes of multi provider then you can create new report on multi provider and restrict 0infoprov - your usa local cube. it shows the data from usa local cube only.

if your cube was not in multi provider under lying cubes then you can directly develop report on your usa local  cube.

If i get you clearly, Your Multiprovider has cubes for e.g USA, China,  Canada etc..

you can restrict only your USA cube in the query.

Dimensions--> Infoprovider --> drag only USA Cube.

By doing so only the values from the USA cube will be shown.

For MP you do not need any transformation/DTP. just select the cubes needed and the fields required and then assign each field to get info from the cube.

Copying of INfo provider is simple.

On the current MP--> Context Menu -->  select/deselect the cubes and name it.
