Not able to display line item 20 in contract

I could not able to display line item 20 in the contract document.

line item 10 and 30is there however there is no line item 30. What could be reason and how to enable the same.

Hi MRS,

These are the possibilities-

1. The user while creating the contract, would have created 3 line items. He would have deleted 2nd line item. In this case the line items will be 10, 30, 40 etc.

2. As AKPT mentioned, please check the item number intervals in the configuration.

Hi,

   If the the issue is with a particular contract only, the user might have manually entered the line item number as 30 after 10, while creating the contract. In this case, you can manually enter a new item number as 20 and maintain the material and other details.

   If you are getting the same sequence even when creating new contract in ME31K, revert back with the screenshot.

Hi,

   It seems the user entered the item number as 30 manually for the second line item before saving the contract in ME31K. You may try to replicate the same.

   Also check how the item numbers are displayed automatically in ME31K.

It is much possible to enter the item number manually. Go to EKKO table and find the user who created the contract and ask him that has he given the item number manually ?

Or it may also possible if some one delete the line item 20 from directly table EKPO.

It may also possible if user forgot to enter the line item 20 and jump to line item 30 after 10 as below.
