Dynamically pass variable values to planning function

Dear Experts,

I have a planning application running on Integrated Planning.

My scenario is this.

I need to copy a manually planned data from one characteristic to other.

For e.g. I have revenue planned against one country. If I perform copy, the same revenue should be copied to another country.

Let me know how to handle this scenario. If I'm creating a variable for source and target country in my copy planning function, how would I pass the values dynamically to this planning functions.

Let me know your inputs on achieving the above.

Your inputs are much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

Br, Harish

    Hi ,

you will create a input ready characteristic variable on the characteristic in the BEx query and use it in the planning function.

Please see below variable on characteristic version

      Hi Harish

You create 2 variables as single values and mandatory and those variables can be selected in

      copy planning function.

In your copy function select country characteristic as Fields to be changes and in parameters

in From(Source Variable) & To(Target Variable) Select Respective Variables.
