Migration of Oracle 11g to Sybase 16

Is it good to migrate from Oracle 11g to Sybase ASE 16 new version..as it is available in SAP marketplace.?

Any known issues in using ASE 16 ?

This very much depends on the SAP Application consumes the DB and load on it.

May be you consider your systems and read below wiki and thread.

If I have to do, I would keep my existing ORACLE and prepare for the coming upgrade.

1. Before starting the migration Check the PAM Current system supporting the Sybase ASE 14

2. Check the migration guide Heterogeneous system copy method and also you have to check with SAP DB licenses
