Hi All,
I have configured a file to file scenario in Sandbox (SAP PI 7.31 single stack ). I gave my system IP address and my system user name and password in sender channel configuration. But I am getting the below mentioned login incorrect error while sender channel tries to connect to my system.
Error Log:

Hi Satish,
If you are trying to access the file from your local folder where PI is installed then you can't use FTP.Please change the transport protocol to FILE in your file adapter and try.
If you wanted test FTP functionality then try to install guild ftp in your local machine and create the username and password and choose the folders which you wanted to access using FTP.Please let me know your feedback.
Thanks

Hi Shathis,
while sender channel tries to connect to my system
Im sorry but i dont undestand you, what is your system?, the PI system doesnt act like ftp server, in the sender configuration it will read files connecting via polling and in the receiver side it will deposit files.
At beginning you can test ftp connection following Michal's advices

Hi,
Check the connection with core FTP once, using the same credentials and see.
if you are not able to connect, check the credentials once again.

Hi,
Check the below
1)Does FTP/file server installed in your machine and telnet service enabled in it?
If yes then check the below .If no it is mandatory to install file sever in order to connect from PI.
log in to PI server @OS level and ftp to your system by giving credentials and see whether it is connecting from there .Make sure that ports are open to PI to connect to your machine.

Venkat
