Not able to run Heuristic

Hi Experts,

When i am running the Location or Network heuristic i am getting the below message like

1 location product(s) was/were processed

Message no. /SAPAPO/SNP131

At the same time i am able to see any  SNIP stock transfers and planned orders.

Can you please help me out on this issue.

Hello, I had the same issue and after all analysis we discover it was an inconsistency between Product Master Data's and Product PDS's lot size.

While in the PDS the lot size was set between 4.000 and 5.000 (Min: 4.000 / Max: 5.000), in the Product Master Data the lot size was set "Fixed Lot Size" - 3.000

After fixing this issue, the problem was solved.

Try to see in SNOTE if you can install the said note... if you can, go ahead implementing it. That should solve your problem...

Hi Sreenivas,

This could happens for several reasons:

• First of all, check that your planning area is initialized. Re-Initialize the Planning Area with report /SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZE. Once it is done, run report /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK with option Repair.
• Try again and if you still have the same error, check:
  • if your procurement type is F, and this is sourced by other location, check if the corresponing transportation lane is active between these two locations. Check also the master data in your source plant. You can also try to create manually a stock transport requisition in RRP3 between these two plants and see if there is an error log with more info.
  • if the procurement type is E check if you have a PPM or PDS active for this product. Here you can do the same: try to create manually a planned order in RRP3.

Hi Cabalen,

I tried to execute the below programs

/SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZE

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK

but there is no result for my issue.

I have Location based products, one  Dc(Procurement F) and one production plant(Procurement E) and one vendor(Procurement F).

I have created PPM and resources and  Transportation Lane.

Can you please tel me how to find they are active or no, is there any table or T-codes.

Explain  how to create manually a stock transport requisition in RRP3 between  two plants and how to create manually a planned order in RRP3.

Can you please explain if it is possible.

Hi Sreenivas,

If you see the transportation lane, you see your material without any block, the corresponding means of transport is maintained and the vigency is ok, the the t-lane is active.

To create the order in RRP3 follow these screenshots:

 

If you have more than one source you will see a pop up to select the source.

Try and check if you can or not create an order. In case you can't check the error log.

I am able to create Planned Orders there is no error in RRP3 please see the below screen shot.

And please check TL screens below.

Still am getting the same issue when running Location Heuristic,I am working on SAP SCM 5.10

Hi Sreenivas,

Try to create the order in RRP3 at the DC. The source location should be automatically determined. Check if the source is assigned to the order.

Hi Sreenivas,

The source is not assigned, so the t-lane is not being determined.

Check if your procurement type is F at the receiving location.

Check if you have a t-lane between your source location --> target location. Be sure your material is included in the list of materials (without the block indicator) and check the vigency of the t-lane.

If you see that evertything is correct, try to add a Quota (/SAPAPO/SCC_TQ1) in order to force the source determination.

Check if you have a t-lane between your source location --> target location.

I have maintain the source(i.e Production Plant) --->  Targrt location(i.e DC location) see the below screen shot.

Hi Sreenivas,

With vigency I mean validity period.. look at the last screenshot that you sent.. note that you have the validity (Start Date: 18.09.2014 and End Date: 30.08.2015). I would extend the end date in order to cover all your planning horizon.. enter end date 31.12.2999.

When in the block indicator you see Available, that means that there is no blocking. Otherwise you sould see an X - Lock.

Try to extend the validity period and test again..
